Our corporate sponsors have made a generous investment in one of the oldest, continuously operating assembly halls in the United States. As a Registered National Historic Landmark, the Hall does not receive federal funding and rely on donations, friends, and sponsorships to secure the continued use of this historic federal building.
Hamilton Hall, designed and built by Samuel McIntire in 1805, is a unique example of Salem's federal past. Named in honor of the nation's first Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton, it has faithfully served our community as the elegant yet flexible venue for each era's particular social, cultural and assembly needs.
