Hamilton Hall is proud to participate in the 18th annual Trails & Sails event series.

We welcome the community for self-guided tours of the Hall and for a special lecture about Hamilton Hall’s first caterer and his dynamic African-American family.


A Brief History

Hamilton Hall in Salem is widely recognized as one of the most important Federal buildings in America. It was designed in 1805 by the famous architect and master woodcarver, Samuel McIntire, and has been in use as an assembly hall for cultural and social events for over two hundred years.

Book Hamilton Hall for your wedding, or just drop on by when you’re in Salem. The Hall is open for self-guided tours. July 2019 visitor hours Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 10am-2pm.
